What was I doing last week when I should have been blogging?

Last week when I should have been writing,

I was working on the above study for a painting

of Guanyin. I just love Song era sculptures of him.

(See right.) I still need to work out some details,

and I'm not sure but I will probably be using oil

paint for this project.
